Street Spirits
The origin of the Summoning the Spirits series was the Barrier Canyon work, figures whose origins and meanings are lost in the mist of time. From time to time, I encounter street art that speaks to me in similar ways. There is most certainly meaning to it, but that meaning is unknown, and perhaps unknowable, to me. Making the work all that more intriguing.
