Three Days In Beijing
Often when I travel, I have a mental list of specific things to shoot. But along with that, I tend to use the camera as a sketchbook, making notes of anything that catches my eye. I love how there are so many commonalities throughout cultures; sure there are those “exotic” moments, but there are also flea markets, graffiti, people selling stuff, people enjoying leisure time, people praying, people making art and so much more. Sometimes it takes a while to sort out these sketchbook images into something like a story.
